I pay attention to trees but lately I am loving the connection to trees as the leaves change color and fall down. Burlington is known for a large number and variety of trees. Crapo Park represents more than 200 varieties of trees and shrubs. Trees of the Burlington waterfront provide a beautiful visual along the Mississippi.
I was inspired this week to search for unusual and weird trees after listening to a podcast that mentioned dragon's blood trees and its healing potential. So I searched usual and weird trees. Here are some of the search results. I want to look into these trees further because they are new to me.
Unusual and Weird Trees
Areca palm tree
Baobab trees
Bottle tree
Crooked Forest of Gryfino
Dragon’s blood tree
Kauri tree
Quiver tree
Rainbow Eucalyptus
Silk cotton tree
Silver Birch
Sunland Boab tree
Traveller’s tree
Tree of life
Wawana tree
Wollemi Pine Tree
Yoshino cherry

Nature sustains me. Hugging trees, listening to the wind move the leaves, it is paradise to me. Yesterday was my absolute favorite weather day temperature in the 50's, overcast with significant wind. I watched the sunset surrounded by giant oak trees in awe of it all.
Bright Blessings,
Amy
